Two years ago, we spent New Year's Eve with friends instead of going to my parents' house as we do every year. It was a great time but I missed the tradition of being with my family. The highlight of my evening though was seeing my daughter in this beautiful red dress. Her hair was still long (since she has gotten a short haircut) and she looked like a doll to me. Red seems to be her color. I still have the dress and will probably keep it forever because of the memories it brings with it.
