1. We know how creative Berleen is with her terrific tee-shirts and such, so how about you? Do you draw anything or perhaps your name in the sand when you go to the beach?
I actually love to draw I just never seem to have the time. It kind of tunes me out to the world, it's a place where I can lose myself. I like to draw just about anything but mostly scenery and cartoon characters.
2. Kimber doesn’t always leave her house. I wonder if she knows what is out her back door. What is out your back door? The scene goes something like this, beyond my deck is a pool (from Wal-Mart unfortunately can't afford an in-ground) but it serves its purpose, a swingset, grass, trees and a gorgeous lake and mountains. (I didn't mention the areas of doggy poop that you have to step around though. :| )
3. Do you prefer the beach, a pool or a lake? Why? I love the beach but only if it is a clean one!!! The only beach that I have access to is the town beach and it is not too clean. I love the beach because it is just a beautiful place to be. The waves just let you float and they look so pretty, the sand is just so comfy when you lay upon it on your blanket, the little sand mounds are like pillows, and most of all I love the sun so any gorgeous clean beach available to me on a sunny day is right up my alley.
4. What is something recently that happened to you that you are REALLY excited about?
My husband bought me tickets to see Bon Jovi in concert and gave them to me on Mother's day. I had been waiting to see him for 25 years. Either I never had the money or the time and before I knew it the years just passed me by. The excitement never wore off, from when he came on stage, throughout the whole concert and to this day.
5. I am fortunate that I come from a very close family. Are any of your great-grandparents still alive? If not did you ever meet them?
Unfortunately none of mine are alive either. I was able to spend most of my young life with one of my great grandparents; my great-grandmother. She was a beautiful person, she was from Russia and would always tell us stories about how she lived and about her farm there. Sadly she died when I was 13 years old and we all miss her very much.
6. When was the last time you spoke in front of a large group? Tell us about it.
That's a good one!!! Being a wife and mom I never really get that type of opportunity. So here goes.....The last time I spoke in front of a large group was last year when I was the substitute teacher for my daughter's Kindergarten class.
7. Have you ever bungee jumped? Would you ever bungee jump?
No, but I have always wanted to and someday I will.
8. How strong emotionally do you think you are?
I never thought I was that emotionally strong life has brought me some experiences that I have needed a great deal of strength for. As I look back to the past and even in the present I can truly say that I think I am a strong person.
9. Kimber and Berleen still have NEVER met, yet they are best friends. What is the first thing you notice about people when you meet them?
The first thing that I notice when I meet someone is their eyes.
10. Who do you mess with the most?
My sister. She works at a very uptight firm and whenever I speak to her when she is at work I try to make her laugh. We also joke around alot whenever we see each other. There isn't a time that I can remember when we were with each other when we weren't both laughing until we cried and had pains in our stomachs.
11. Who was the last person you talked to on a landline?
Maria
12. I finally saw Avatar this week. What was the last movie you watched long after it came out and loved?
Armaggedon
13. What did you dream about last night?
My crazy neighbor. She was even harrassing me in my sleep.
You dreamt of your neighbor? Sounds like a horrible dream. Did you put her in a pool and then take away the ladder? I would have.
ReplyDeleteYou are very brave, I will not even get in a plane. Have a great day
